My husband & I want to visit Charleston for our 50th wedding anniversary. Can anyone recommend a campgrounds close to everything? What attractions, & restaurant should we be sure to check out? All help is appreciated! Bonnie Bee

Hi Bonnie and welcome to the RVUSA Forum. I usually use the RV Park Reviews website (http://www.rvparkreviews.com). It helped a bunch when we were travelling from Florida to Alaska and back. Just remember to take the reviews with a grain of salt. I've only been to Charleston once, and that was to get on an airplane, so I can't offer any advice as to attractions or restaurants. Hope you enjoy your vacation.

My son is in the Air Force there, and there is so many thing to see and do. It would be hard to just pick one or two. We have plans to stay at the KOA in MT Pleasant/ Charleston next month.

Ditto Oak Plantation. Walking distance to grocery store, nice landscaping and pool area, friendly staff, clean well maintained park and great rates.
