Can a gray water tank be repaired--maybe fiberglassing over a crack. When I brought it I filled it with water to about half full,no leaks, but I just went under to look things over an I notice that one of the brackets that holds the tank to the underside of the body was pulled thru the lip of the tank, which has caused a hole in the top of the tank. :dead: :( Any tips on repairing it.

Jerry, see no reason why you could not fiberglass the tank if preped properly. They can also be welded with a plastic welder. RV stores probably sell patch kits but, probably cheaper at Wal mart or local auto parts house.

There is a 2 part putty that I used a lond time ago and it is still holding . it is called AQUA MEND Made by QUIKFIXX. It turns white when it is cured. I covered it over with black silicone after I checked the leak to be fixed. The silicone was a little added protection and als to cover up the white putty to match the black tank.
