Hot Water Tank Drain Leak

I purchase a 2006 5th wheel from a dealer last Sat. I pick it up today. I noticed the Plastic Drain Plug on the Hot Water Tank is Leaking. (it left water marks down the side of the trailer). Dealer tells me "they all do that". I call BS. Has anyone had this experience and is it fixable.

They all don't do that! Buy a new nylon or plastic pug for about .50 and find a new dealer.

I agree with Jim. You can also wrap the threads with telfon tape when you install the new plug. Don't overtighten the plug as they are easy to strip. When you fix it go back to the dealer and tell him how to fix it and then tell them bye because you want be back.

I third it, new plastic plug and teflon. Tell the dealer BS and you know the answer, now fix it before you leave the lot.
