jayco pop camper awning

We have a 1994 Jayco popup that I cant figure out how you set the awning up. I have three poles that are spring loaded and three that have have a wire hook on one end. We didnt get a manual for the unit. Thanks Ted

Here's how my 94 Jayco pop-up worked...there is a "cross pole" that rolls out with the awning and it is inside the awning, parallel to the camper. It has three sets of holes in it. In the middle set of holes, put a spring-loaded pole against the camper and attach it to the cross pole. Put the other type of pole in the cross pole and on the ground. Repeat this for the two outside sets of poles as well. I always did the set up with another person. I hope this helps!
