Manual Hyd. jacks

Hi
Just got my 2000 Flair Class A. I couldn't get
my jacks down. My engine was running when I
tired this. Do I work them when engine is off?
The above may seem stupid but I am real new
at this. Thank You.

did u have the parking brake or emergency brake on when doing this ,, some are wired to only work in this manner

Fred the enging will have to be off or mine does. Welcome to the forum. No question is dumb. We have all been there done that at one time or other
