We are buying our first travel trailer, Rockwood Minilite with a slide. Making a list of things to stock. All the typical stuff, towels, dishes, etc. But what other things she would keep in the rv that we wouldn't only know by experience, like hoses, tools, etc?

The Good Sam website had a list of items to pack that was avaliable for printing. You might go to their website www.goodsamclub.com and under search type in "travel checklist". I thought their suggestions were good. Hope this will help you.

we just have what we use inside the house, since it is our second home. Just don't over load it, bad idea to do that

I keep a tool box with normal tools (screwdrivers etc.), cordless drill, box of stuff (duct tape, cable wraps, bungi cords, wd-40, extra hose, extension cord, hatchet, tent stakes, rope, etc.). Find the $4.00 plastic storage containers from Wally world works great to store things in. Usually if I find I need something while out I will buy one and keep it in the RV.
