We have just heard that having tires inflated with nitrogen makes them wear much longer. We need new tires for our Holiday Rambler Ambassador. ANY tire advice would be greatly appreciated, including thoughts on nitrogen. Thanks!

    Re: nitrogen in tires

Welcome to the forum Sue. No need to worry about the wear of the MH tires unless you are planning on driving 50k a year. Time will get you before wear on normal rv travel. Tires need to be replaced ever 5 to 7 yr regardless of tread. The nitrogen may help keep yhe inside from dry rot. Not worth the trouble in my opinion. Where are you going to get nitrogen on the road to top them off? JMO
