I know this is a dump question , but have to checked the oil level? If not start there, also make sure the fuel filter in installed in the right direction. Good luck and post back your finding.
What code is flashing at shutdown? Can read at the gen or in the M/H. Ther than the fuel filter change did you do anything else? Coolant change? Oil Change?
