Quartzsite, AZ Question

I've always wanted to go to the gem and mineral show at Quartzsite in January, but just couldn't get away. Now that I'm a newbie RV owner, I have a chance to go over mid-week, the second week in January, with my newly acquired (old) RV. My question is, can you dry camp very close (within a short walk) to the Gem and Mineral Show? Or, do you have to camp out in the boonies somewhere and hitch a ride into the show (I don't have a tow behind vehicle)?

I believe you will have to camp out in the boonies and catch a ride in. Or just drive your rig to the show. By the time you get there you may find it hard to find any camping spots withing several miles of quartzite.

Sounds good. If you park out in the boonies and then drive your RV to the show, your camping spot will probaby be taken as soon as you leave, there are no assigned spots in the boonies.
