We are from Australia hiring an RV for teh first time in December this year. we wanted to fly into Memphis and drive to Miami but we cant do a one way rental this way. we want to see the Florida Keys, Cape Canaveral, Smoky Moutnains, Nashville and Memphis. Can anyonw recommend a route that would take in theses destination over 2 weeks. It looks like we can only pick up one way rentals from Atlanta and Miami.

Hey Aussienovice, welcome to the forum. The Smoky Mountains will be really cold and could be snowy or icy in December. That's winter in the mountains. :(

DL is correct on the possibility of snow in the Smokey Mnts in Dec especially in the higher elevations. It can be a beautiful time with all the ice hanging alongside the roads in the lower roads. We have been several times in the winter and have really enjoyed. Not crowded and there are CGs that stay open in the winter.
