We are interested in buying a 5th wheel and would like to know if we can pull a boat behind it. We have a F350 Ford crew cab. Do we have to be careful with length of the 5th wheel we buy? Thanks.

    Towing Boat Behind 5th Wheel

It will depend on what state you are in. State laws do vary. Minnesota for example allows towing behind a fifth wheel; however there are some restrictions. The combination of tow vehicle, 5th wheel, and trailer can't exceed 60 feet. The 5th wheel can't exceed 28ft in length, and the combination can't be towed in the metropolitan area during weekday rush hour. I'm sure most states have similiar laws. Most states post their traffic laws on the internet. Hope this helps.
