I am looking to purchase a used 5th wheel for shorter trips camping with my wife and grandchildren.
The camper I am looking at is 27' long, GVW 7500, axle wight 3500 (x2), I am not sure of hitch weight.
I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD w/318 V-8 and towing package. It is a shortbed.
Is this enough vehicle to haul this unit for trips up to 250 miles? Do I need a slider hitch?
