When should I fill fresh water after winterization

I am getting ready to leave Kentucky in a few day to go to Alabama for 3 weeks. My 2014 Thor Windsport has been winterized by blowing air thru the lines. The high temperature will be in the 20's on the day I plan to leave. I would like to put some fresh water in it before I leave just to fill up the hot water heater and to have some water available for the two day trip. I could just carry some gallons on water with me and wait until I get down south but I really would like to check out the system before I leave. Any advice would be appreciated.

With heat on in the RV you should be ok. As long as it is not in teens. Where in Alabama are you planning on being? Been in the 20s here for several nights now.
