96 Geogie Boy Dashboard Removal

I am a new owner of a 96 Georgie Boy (Chevy) in need of TLC.
I need to replace the dash radio. Is there a way to remove the dash to work on it? Or do I need to do it from underneath?
Please Help....

Welcome to the forum Clay. Most of the radios will slide out from the front. What brand is the radio?

Its a pioneer. the dash has a rectangle cut out about 2 1/2" X 3' and 2 holes cut out for the knobs. so the only way is out the back. That's my problem. Can the dashboard be pulled off rather than trying to wire it behind the dash...

Sounds as though out the back is the only way. Without seeing it afraid I can't help. Some of the dash fronts can be removed but from the way yours sounds it probably will be a major job to remove the dash so that leaves working from behind, Good luck

On my 98 Georgie Boy, Cruise Master the face of the dash is removable and that is how you get to any of the things installed in it. But mine also has screws that can be seen from sitting in the driver's seat.
