Edelbrock Port Injection worthwhile?

[Steve Nix] Has anyone converted a Chev 350 from throttle body injection to port fuel injection using Edelbrock&#039s kit? I have a 1989 Chev extra cab, long bed pickup pulling a 25&#039 Sandpiper (by Forest River) trailer. I like the truck, but wanted to get more power without going to a 454. I&#039m looking for people who have had this done and would like to know if the power increase is worthwhile. Thank you, Steve Nix

Edelbrock Port Injection worthwhile?

[John] no I havent steve but GM performance is coming out with a 383 ci engine for towing. specs. say it puts out 400 ft. lbs. at 2500 rpms. I had lindvig machine in Medford ore. build me a 383 with roller cam, roller tip rockers and everything in between and I am very happy I did not buy a 502.
