In Search of Consistently Strong WiFi Signal

New Member
We are planning an RV trip and are in search of the required equipment in hopes that multiple devices can regularly connect to WiFi with strong signal.

I have been told about a MiFi hotspot. Curious what your experience suggests is the best.

Thanks in advance!

Anything in the -50 dBm range will generally be really good, especially when using 802.11ac. -60 dBm will be still be pretty good. -70 dBm and below will start to see significant dropoff in speed.
What really matters is bandwidth and latency. If those are sufficient to meet your needs, then I wouldn't sweat the signal strengths.
