We just purchased a 5th wheel and truck combo from a dealer and they suggested a Montana LLC to avoid paying sales tax. This sounded interesting but want to make sure we don't end up in a bad situation. Anyone with experience and/or recommendations?
If you are a fulltimer it will usually work, but you are quite likely to get caught if you are not because you spend too much time in one area. I would get legal advice before I did this, particularly if not fulltime.
