Not sure which way to go

Hello, I am new to this community. We have had travel and fifth wheels trailers for years, but now would like to move into a class A.
My question is: Would you buy a new gas or an older Diesel Pusher?
My biggest fear with an DP is engine and trans repairs. They can often cost upwards of 40K for an engine.
 
Hello, I used to be a 3D animator working in games but it's not the industry for me and any passion I did have for it has completely passed. I thought I wanted to work in IT but only the repairing and physical parts interest me and from asking around that specific job is dying with no career progression.
