I just obtained what I think is a 1990s American Star 5th Wheel. I was able to put the sliders out but when it seemed to reach the end, it sounded like it might fall out. I then backed it up. How can you tell if it's all the way out and is there a risk that the slider might fall out if it goes out too far? I am sure the newer ones aren't a concern but with the age of this, I was wondering.
